I just don't know where to start. Our ac went out a week ago and we have had our ac fella here almost every day. First problem...holiday weekend and he needed the codes to the ac unit from Coleman....CLOSED for the holiday!! At least we had some ac if we shut it off and wait and turn it on for a short time....we dragged out the fans and when the sun went down we opened windows...We're in VEGAS baby and it is HOT.....so today he arrived bright and early and now we have ac....I know the electric bill is going to be ridiculous but boy do I love to hear the ac kick in and then off....good sleeping tonight....
Ok, so work....it is slow but yet busy...I know sounds crazy...we have someone on vacation so I had to work 4 hours yesterday, my day off....had to register the truck, get my hair cut and get to work by 2pm...
Today I was thrilled to get home and find the ac is working (still) and it is nice in the house...a friend of mine called me from Maine and we talked for an hour...I really needed a friend right then....and my mailman delivered some yarn!!!! What more could I ask for right now?? My question for you is: what pair of socks do you think I should knit up with my new "Panda Wool"...color is natural??? I love the feel so I am anxious to get started on something....give me some ideas....

So sorry to hear about the AC, isn't it strange how that stuff happens in groups. We had to replace our dishwasher and oven/stove and washing machine all in a 2 month period 2 summers ago. Well I hope things get better for you soon and you can get your computer. Go knit something, it will make you feel better, it does me anyway.
Glad you have your ac back. Yeah, I know how life can suck.
Panda, huh? I haven't tried that one yet, but I hear good things about it. There must be something in that SKS book I gave you!
An intricate pattern from SKS would probably do the trick!
Knit...what else is there to do?
Wanna try for Thursday evening the 14th? If I put it on my calendar, I'll stick to it.
(grin)
With Panda Wool in natural....you could knit any socks - the pattern whether cables, lace, textured, or plain will show up so beautifully in the creamy color.
